Ok, so what I'm doing here is setting the beforeShow function in the option hash for datepicker. What I'm telling it is that before I show the datepicker, I want to change it's z-index. The div that contains the datepicker is #ui-datepicker-div. I want the z-index of the datepicker to be 1 greater than the modal dialog that is calling it.
